Description
All-on-8 dental implants provide an alternative solution to dental prosthesis employed traditionally, when all teeth are absent due to age or any other cause.
All-on-8 are eight implants placed along the jawbone and have the particularity that they practically never require bone grafts, thus making placement and healing easier.
This procedure is carried out particularly for cosmetic reasons and in patients who DO NOT have a bone problem.
Unlike all-on-4 and all-on-6, which require a single intervention, all-on-8 treatment is done in two visits. On the first visit, the patient comes to Costa Rica for a short period of three days to a week (though the surgery can be done in one day and the patient can return on the next day if he or she so wishes).
The next visit is four months later, when the imprints are taken on computer and the made-to-measure prosthesis is prepared. This second procedure takes approximately four days, at the end of which the patient returns to his or her country with a new smile.

All-on-8 dental implants have a lifetime warranty. If an implant were to present a problem, the patient is attended to with the necessary procedures being carried out at no cost. The work can be done entirely in zirconium (metal that can be colored) and porcelain, which is also more aesthetically pleasing, and the dental pieces undergo less wear, but this option requires an additional visit.
