Otoplasty
Description
This procedure is carried out to correct the ear area. It is highly-requested by patients with prominent ears or a noticeable projection of the ears due to natural lifting (separated, prominent, handle-like). Dr. Rivera makes an incision behind the ear which is out of site.
This procedure can be carried out with local or general anesthesia. It is an outpatient procedure; that is, it does not require hospitalization.
The recovery period is very short, a maximum of seven days.
